Riddle

There were two men in a resturaunt. Both were sitting alone when the waiter came and asked the first one what would he like. He said everything on the menu had bread in it and he was allergic to bread. He asked the waiter to come back later while he thought about what he wanted. So the waiter went over to the other guy and asked what he wanted. He said everything on the menu had gravy on it and he was allergic to gravy! How did these two men solve this problem?
