Can you solve this riddle?

Dengaku Man walks out of a room with a person of the same hieght in a black robe with a hood pulled over his head. They both walk to a guillotine and Dengaku Man is laid under it. The hooded man activates the guillotine and Dengaku Man's head is cut off. Then the hooded man pulls of his hood and reveals that he is Dengaku Man and the one who had his head chooped of is a dummy. How did he do it?
