Can you solve this riddle?

Jack and Jill are best friends. They live together in the same house and they see each other every day. One day, Jill goes out to the nearby store. When she comes back, she finds the window's shutters open, a bowel on the ground, water spilt and Jack dead. What happened?

First of, all Jack is a fish. The wind blew the window open, knocked the bowel of water down. The bowel of water was Jack's tank. And he died.
