Can you solve this riddle?

A guy walks into a barn and sees a man hanging 13 feet high. He also sees a wet spot right below him. There was nothing in the barn so how did he hang himself?

When he killed himself it was winter so he decided to stand on an ice block. When spring came the ice melted and that's when he was found.
