Can you solve this riddle?

A woman works on the 45th floor of a building. She takes the stairs up each morning and uses the elevator to go down at night. Why does she use the stairs in the morning and the elevator at night?

The woman is vertically challenged. She can't reach the 45 button on the elevator, so she has to take the stairs up. But she can reach the 1 button on the elevator and so can take it to go down.
