Can you solve this riddle?

You are being chased by a bear and there's a tree and a church. The tree could keep you away from the bear for a little time and the church could lock you in so that the bear wouldn't be able to get in. What would you rather go in: The church or a tree?

I would go on the tree. You wouldn't go in a church with a bear (bare) behind would you?
