Can you solve this riddle?

Three people are on an island and supplies are running low. They need to travel to a new island not far away. The two boys weigh 100 pounds each and the father weighs 200 pounds. Their boat can only hold 200 pounds. How do they all get to the new island?

The two boys go first. One boy gets off on the new island and the other boy gets back in the boat. The boy gets on the old island and the father goes to the new island alone. The boy on the new island gets back in the boat and he goes and gets his brother and travels back to the new island.
